Teacher(s) of the class (1)                          

Names of the teacher(s) teaching the class.

Pinned Items (2)

Items a teacher has chosen to be placed at the top of the class or group for better visibility. Read more about Pinned Items here

Students List (3) 

A list of students currently enrolled in the class, populated by the region’s systems. Teachers do not need to manually enter students into classes. Read more about the Students List here

Course Content (4)

The Content panel contains all units and assessments in the course prepared by the teacher in the Content Builder.

Conversation and Activity Feed (5)

A social-style activity feed where teachers can share Notes, create Assignments, Journals, Polls and Events. Students can ask questions and post information in the class conversation. Read more about the Conversation and Activity Feed here.

Links to various tools like Attendance, the Markbook, Planner, Evidence, Perspective, and Check-ins.

Class Calendar (7)

The Class Calendar displays any assessment that has both a due date and a status of Visible to Students.

  • Teachers and students share the same view of the Class Calendar
  • Assessments and Events from the Class Calendar are automatically added to the teachers’ and the students’ home screen Calendars

Class Journal (8)

The Class Journal allows teachers to communicate learning objectives and student expectations. Te Rito pulls together the Journals from all a student’s classes and creates a summary to enable the student to see everything at a glance. Read more about the Class Journal here
