What is the Class Journal?

The Class Journal allows teachers to communicate learning objectives and student expectations. Te Rito pulls together the Journals from all of a student’s classes and creates a summary to enable the student to see everything at a glance.

  • Teachers can describe what they’re covering in the next class and what students should be working on
  • Visible to students and parents if teacher chooses
  • To create a Journal, click Journal

  • Journal entries will appear in the class activity feed and the Journal area of the class based on the selected date of the Journal
  • Click the Journal title to view a list of all Journal entries and their dates

  • All Journal entries can also be viewed through the Planner link at the top of the Class page
